The storyline takes place in an alternate version of present day. In this version, the US has become the modern Holy Roman Empire and taken control of many countries with the help of alchemy and magic using mystical and mythological items they found in ruins in Palestine. The main RP takes place on Atlantis which was discovered in the 1950's and settled immediately. This new government style has a president, but he's a figurehead puppeted by the Illuminati.

September 22, 2009: Last remaining member of anarchist vigilante group "Era Vuilgaris" was found dead after an apparent car crash below a cliff in Elsholtz. His brakes appear to had been cut but the damage was too extensive to tell.

September 19, 2009: Epidemic of unexplained headaches still plaguing many of the psychics throughout all of Atlantis. The Philosophers deny any relation to the headaches and the sudden activity of the ancient Atlantian machines and ruins.

September 13, 2009: The Philosophers completed their work on the Cosmic Eye Sockets (CES) around most of the cities in Atlantis. The CES manage small dimensional eyelets in reality. They keep the dimensional tears from opening and letting in unwanted extradimensional entities from leaking into our world. The CES's also allow safe travel into those worlds.

September 7, 2009: Atlantian sailors leave for the Indian Ocean this morning and welcome Atlantian Sailors back home from Cape Verde. The Illuminati and the President still deny any plans to annex more countries to the IGE. Philosophers still deny any relationship to the opening dimensional rifts with Alchemy, sorcery, or the epidemic of psychics complaining of migraines.
